Synopsis:
The story reimagines characters from the “Fate” universe in a magical girl setting. The protagonist, Illyasviel von Einzbern (often referred to as Illya), is a normal elementary school girl who becomes a magical girl after being chosen by the magical Kaleidostick Ruby. She is tasked with collecting Class Cards, which contain the spirits of heroic figures.
As the series progresses, Illya is joined by other characters such as Miyu Edelfelt, who also becomes a magical girl with her own Kaleidostick, Sapphire. The series explores their adventures, battles against enemies to collect the Class Cards, and the growing relationships between the characters.
