Re: placed first at the Japanese box office with over 218 million yen in its opening weekend, one of the biggest debuts for a compilation film with little to no new content.

The film’s success perfectly showcases how much popularity the anime has maintained over a year since its conclusion, and it’s another good sign that the Bocchi the Rock! franchise won’t be done anytime soon. While fans are still waiting for any news about a second season of the show, they can look forward to the release of Bocchi the Rock! Re: in North American theaters soon.
