Aniplex unveiled a new key visual and January 2025 Premiere date for Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-, during the Aniplex Online Fest.
The stream also revealed a season one recap film titled Solo Leveling -ReAwakening which will include the first two episodes of Season 2. The screenings will open in Japan on November 29. Crunchyroll will stream the new season
Shunsuke Nakashige (Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory) directed the anime series at Studio A-1 Pictures, Noboru Kimura (Gundam Build Divers) served as the head writer and Hiroyuki Sawano (86, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway) composed the music.
Synopsis:
Humanity was caught at a precipice a decade ago when the first gatesβportals linked with other dimensions that harbor monsters immune to conventional weaponryβemerged around the world.
