The movie is a theatrical edit of the Courtesan of a Nation Arc (episodes 257โ261), release date in Japan: June 21.

“Gintama” is a Japanese anime series adapted from the manga of the same name by Hideaki Sorachi. It is known for its unique blend of action, comedy, and drama, set in an alternate-history Edo period where Earth is invaded and conquered by aliens known as the Amanto.
The story revolves around Gintoki Sakata, a former samurai who now runs a freelancer business called Yorozuya, taking on odd jobs to make ends meet. He is joined by Shinpachi Shimura, a boy who wants to learn the ways of the samurai, and Kagura, a girl from the powerful alien race Yato.
