A Beloved Series Returns

“Natsume’s Book of Friends” has been a fan favorite since it first aired in 2008. Adapted from Yuki Midorikawa’s manga, the anime tells the story of Takashi Natsume, a young boy who can see spirits and inherits a special notebook from his grandmother, Reiko. The notebook, known as the “Book of Friends,” contains the names of spirits Reiko had bound to her service. Now, Natsume seeks to return their names, embarking on various heartwarming and sometimes eerie adventures, aided by his feline guardian, Nyanko-sensei.

The seventh season promises to dive deeper into Natsume’s connection with both the human and spirit worlds, as he continues to grow and strengthen his bonds with those around him.

Netflix acquiring exclusive streaming rights for this highly anticipated season, it solidifies the platform’s commitment to delivering high-quality anime content to Southeast Asia. Over the years, Netflix has made significant strides in securing and producing anime titles for its growing global audience, reflecting the surging popularity of anime in various regions.
