
The upcoming A Star Brighter Than the Sun TV anime series will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video worldwide, starting on October 2, 2025, at the same premiere date in Japan.
The service also currently lists the following dubs that will be available for the series: English, Deutsch, EspaΓ±ol (Spain), EspaΓ±ol (Latin America), French, Italiano, Portuguese (Brazil), and Thai.
Aya Kobayashi is directing the anime series, with Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun) as series screenwriter and Miki Sakurai (The Quintessential Quintuplets) and Natsumi Tabuchi (Nina the Starry Bride) as music composers. Studio KAI is handling the animation production.

The anime is based on the romance manga series by Kazune Kawahara, which began serialization in Shueishaβs Bessatsu Margaret on June 11, 2021 and has released 12 volumes as of August 2025. VIZ Media licensed the manga in May 2024 for English release.
