Breaking News:
Disney+ is set to debut its newest original anime series, Bullet/Bullet, on July 16, bringing to life a high-octane, genre-bending adventure that has been more than ten years in the making. The project, rich in creative pedigree and world-building, promises to deliver a post-apocalyptic thrill ride unlike anything currently on the anime landscape.

A Post-Apocalyptic Tale of Junk, Survival, and Rebellion:
Bullet/Bullet is set in a gritty, desolate future where remnants of the old world are scavenged and repurposed to survive. At the heart of the story is Gear, a junk dealer by day who moonlights on dangerous missions alongside two unlikely partners: Qu-0213, a robot plagued by multiple personalities, and Shirokuma, a gambling-addicted polar bear. The trio operates in the shadows, stealing high-value items on behalf of various clients.
But when they rescue a mysterious girl from a team of assassins, their lives are thrown into chaos. The act sets off a chain of events that pits them against the powerful elite that controls their crumbling world, pushing them into a battle far bigger than any of them anticipated.
A Stellar Voice Cast and Creative Team
The anime features a powerhouse voice cast:
Marina Inoue (Attack on Titan, Smile PreCure!) as Gear
Kazuhiro Yamaji (PSYCHO-PASS, One-Punch Man) as Shirokuma
Rie Kugimiya (Gintama, Fullmetal Alchemist)
Kana Hanazawa (Quintessential Quintuplets, PSYCHO-PASS)
The series is directed by Park, renowned for his work on Jujutsu Kaisen and The God of High School. The script is penned by Aki Kindaichi, known for Uma Musume: Cinderella Grey. Character designs are overseen by Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Future GPX Cyber Formula, Hunter x Hunter), who also serves as Chief Animation Director. Concept and mechanical designs are crafted by legendary designer Hidetaka Tenjin, whose credits include Mobile Suit Gundam and Macross.
Release Schedule:
The first eight episodes of Bullet/Bullet will premiere on July 16, with a second batch of eight episodes slated to drop on August 13, exclusively on Disney+.
