The highly regarded Japanese animation studio CloverWorks, known for producing hits like SPY x FAMILY, My Dress-Up Darling, BOCCHI THE ROCK!, and Horimiya, has released their latest project, the pop idol drama film Trapezium, now available for streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll.
Based on the original novel by Kazumi Takayama, the film is directed by Masahiro Shinohara (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 Counterattack Arc), with a screenplay written by Yuko Kakihara (Buddy Daddies; Blue Box). The main voice cast includes Asaki Yuikawa (The Elusive Samurai), Hina Youmiya (BanG Dream! It’s MyGo!!!!!), Reina Ueda (Solo Leveling), and Haruka Aikawa (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime).
Synopsis:ย High school student Yu Azuma will do whatever it takes to become an idol. Sheโs even sworn to stay off social media and promises not to get a boyfriend. Ready to make her dream a reality, she decides to find three other girls from the four corners of her prefecture to form an idol group.
