Crunchyroll, the leading platform for anime enthusiasts around the world, has unveiled a new visual from the renowned animation studio ufotable for the much-anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle. This film, set to be the first installment of an epic trilogy, is scheduled for a global theater release in 2025.
Earlier today, at the Thunder Stage during CCXP, Japanese voice actors Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka) and Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito), alongside Brazilian voice actor Daniel Figueira (Tanjiro Kamado), treated excited fans to a preview of the stunning Infinity Castle. This intricate location will serve as the battleground for the upcoming epic clash between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demonic leader, Muzan Kibutsuji!
The film will be globally distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, including Japan (excluding certain Asian markets). While no specific release dates have been announced yet, this three-part cinematic saga will mark the conclusion of the highly popular and award-winning Demon Slayer anime series, bringing its final arc to the big screen.
About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication.
