Synopsis:
Set in the fictional city of Orario, where adventurers seek to conquer the dungeon teeming with monsters, the story follows Bell Cranel, a young and inexperienced adventurer. Orario’s society revolves around guilds known as Familias, each led by a deity. These gods and goddesses have descended to the human world to experience life alongside their followers.
The anime adaptation, produced by J.C. Staff, has multiple seasons, covering different arcs from the light novels.
The protagonist, Bell, is the sole member of the Hestia Familia, led by the goddess Hestia. He dreams of becoming a great adventurer and is inspired by his idol, Ais Wallenstein, a famous swordswoman of the Loki Familia who once saved his life.
Bell’s primary activities involve exploring the dungeon, battling monsters, and growing stronger. His unique ability, “Liaris Freese,” allows him to gain strength rapidly.
