■What is Gachiakuta?
Crawl back from the abyss of Hell to change this lousy world!
Gachiakuta is a battle-action story follows Rudo, an orphaned boy born in a slum inhabited by the descendants of criminals. The manga, created by manga artist Kei Urana and graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou, began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022. Gachiakuta also won the Global Special Award in the Comics Category at the Next Manga Awards 2022. While developing the concept for Gachiakuta, Urana thought that incorporating graffiti art would make it more interesting and enlisted the help of graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou.
The enemies in the story are “common sense,” “conformity,” “authority and discrimination”!
This buzz-worthy, groundbreaking manga has finally been confirmed for an anime adaptation premiering in July 2025!
The production will be handled by the anime studio Bones Film.

The stunning anime visuals crafted by Bones Film have been unveiled for the first time. Within the PV, a striking scene depicts the protagonist of the story, Rudo, an orphaned boy scraping by as a trash picker in the Sphere, being falsely accused of murder and cast down to the Pit. The teaser also offers a glimpse of him facing adversity head-on. The character voices are also revealed for the first time, immersing viewers in the unique world of this unconventional battle-action series. ◆New Information ② Main Cast for Rudo, Enjin, Zanka, and Riyo Announced! Character Information Also Revealed!
The protagonist of the story, Rudo, a boy from the Sphere, is voiced by Aoi Ichikawa. Enjin, a member of the “Cleaners” who hunt down the monstrous “trash beasts” bred from waste and discovers Rudo after he is cast into the Pit, is voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi. Zanka, who serves as Rudo’s mentor, is voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka. Riyo, a girl whose rationality stands out in battle, is voiced by Yumiri Hanamori.
