December 2, 2025 – Crunchyroll is making December extra special for anime fans in India with a newly updated release schedule for the eight beloved films by visionary director Makoto Shinkai. Instead of releasing all films together, Crunchyroll will now premiere the titles weekly from December 4 to December 18, giving fans a curated, month-long celebration of Shinkaiβs storytelling.
Under the revised schedule:
- December 4 at 6:30 am:Β Suzume (also in Hindi dub), The Garden of Words, Voices of a Distant Star
- December 11 at 6:30 am:Β Weathering With You (also in Hindi dub), Children Who Chase Lost Voices, The Place Promised in Our Early Days
- December 18 at 6:30 am: Your Name. (also in Hindi dub), 5 Centimeters per Second
All eight films will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll, marking the first time Shinkaiβs complete collection will be available online in India. Known globally for his breathtaking animation, emotional narratives, and iconic music, Shinkaiβs films have touched audiences worldwide. This curated lineup includes major fan favourites such as Suzume, Weathering With You, and Your Name, now premiering with Hindi dubs in India for the first time.
