Additional details about the anime were not revealed, but the announcement did include a new illustration by LN illustrator Yukiko Horiguchi.

“Lupin the IIIRD: The Movie – The Immortal Bloodline” is coming to US theaters January 4–6 [Sun–Tue]!

Directed by Takeshi Koike, this is the franchise’s first 2D movie since “Lupin the 3rd Dead Or Alive” in 1996.
