On September 9, 2024, the official Yuru Camp Twitter account made an exciting announcement that Yuru Camp (also known as Laid-Back Camp) is officially getting a fourth season! This announcement marks the continuation of the beloved series, which has captured the hearts of viewers worldwide with its tranquil portrayal of camping, friendship, and the beauty of the Japanese countryside.
The series author, ‘Afro‘ also unveiled a commemorative visual to celebrate the upcoming season, the visual feature two characters introduced in Season 3: Ema Mizunami and Mei Nakatsugawa. ‘Afro‘ mentioned that, although these characters had limited screen time last season, their stories will be explored more in Season 4. The Staff, animation studio & release date of the new season are not announced yet.
Studio 8-bit animated the third season which aired from April to June 2024. C-Station animated the first two seasons with season 1 premiered in January 2018 while season 2 debuted in January 2021.
