CRUNCHYROLL SECURES EXCLUSIVE STREAMING RIGHTS TO ‘RELEASE THAT WITCH’ — THREE NEW GLOBAL TITLES TO SCREEN FIRST AT AFA SINGAPORE 2025 —

Manila, Philippines (November 13, 2025) – Crunchyroll, the global leader in anime, has secured exclusive streaming rights to Release that Witch. Elevating the excitement for anime fans, Crunchyroll will host an exclusive screening at AFA Singapore 2025, where attendees will get early access to unreleased episodes from Release that Witch, Fire Force Season 3 Cour 2, and An Adventurer’s Daily Grind at Age 29. The showcase will also feature special screenings of fan-favorite titles, including Lord of Mysteries and My Awkward Senpai.
For one afternoon only, anime fans in Singapore will be among the first in the world to watch these premieres — ahead of their official streaming launch on Crunchyroll.

● Release that Witch – Season 1 Episode 1 (World-first premiere) –
Synopsis: Roland, a modern man reborn as a prince in the dangerous Border Town, rescues the witches Anna and Nana Pine from the Church. ● Yusuke Kobayashi, the celebrated Japanese voice of Arthur Boyle in Fire Force, will meet fans in an exclusive Fire Force Meet & Greet and guest panel session on Sunday, 30 November, 3 PM at the AFA Day Stage.
● Ke Xiong (Director/Producer) and Liu Xing (Chief Screenwriter) of Lord of Mysteries will attend a Creator Meet & Greet and guest panel on Friday, 28 November, 2 PM at the AFA Day Stage, sharing behind-the-scenes insights into the making of the acclaimed webnovel adaptation.
The screening event and guest panels are part of Crunchyroll’s expanded presence at AFA Singapore 2025, which will also feature a massive 105-square-metre booth experience spotlighting Fire Force, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Lord of Mysteries, complete with interactive games, exclusive photo activations, and Crunchyroll’s signature “anime tunnel” that transports fans through a vibrant world.
