Original TV anime “Inherit the Winds” seasonal illustration for spring!
The anime is scheduled to screen theatrically in Japan this year prior to its January 2027 TV debut.
Tomohiro Kawamura is directing the anime at studios Live2D Creative Studio and Drive.

Summary of WIT STUDIO‘s statement regarding the opening sequence of “Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke“
・WIT STUDIO has investigated and confirmed that generative AI was used in some portions of the opening sequence
・WIT STUDIO maintains that, as a general rule with the exception of the experimental short “The Dog & The Boy“, it does not permit the use of generative AI imagery in its productions, and this opening sequence is no exception
・Starting with episode 2, the opening sequence will be replaced with a version using redrawn background art
・No additional use of generative AI imagery was identified in the rest of the show
・Accepting supervisory responsibility for the incident, WIT STUDIO apologizes to fans, the original author, and all other parties involved, and commits to revising its production guidelines and reassessing its management systems to prevent a repeat
・WIT STUDIO emphasizes that NAM HAI ART had no involvement in this incident
