Synopsis:
“Bocchi the Rock!” centers on Hitori GotΕ, a painfully shy and introverted high school girl who dreams of becoming a rock musician but struggles with severe social anxiety. She spends most of her time playing guitar alone in her room and posting videos online under the pseudonym “Guitar Hero.”
One day, Hitori’s life takes a turn when she meets Nijika Ijichi, an energetic and outgoing drummer who invites her to join her band, Kessoku Band. Despite her fears, Hitori decides to step out of her comfort zone and joins the band, which also includes the cool and composed bassist Ryo Yamada and the cheerful and supportive vocalist and guitarist Ikuyo Kita.
As Hitori navigates the challenges of performing in public, bonding with her bandmates, and overcoming her social anxieties, she learns the true power of music and friendship. Through their shared passion for rock music, the members of Kessoku Band grow together, supporting each other both on and off the stage.
