Mumbai: Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, announced today the North American theatrical date for the all-new anime fantasy film Witch on The Holy Night. The story – animated by ufotable, the famed animation production company behind the award-winning film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle I – will come exclusively to theatres starting January 29, 2027 in the United States and Canada. The film, distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment, will be available in both Japanese with English subtitles as well as dubbed in English.

Witch on the Holy Night is adapted from the 2012 visual novel of the same name, written by Kinoko Nasu and developed by TYPE-MOON. TYPE-MOON is the company behind the award-winning Fate franchise, which began with the best-selling visual novel Fate/stay night and has since expanded across anime, manga, games, and feature films. The studio has also collaborated with ufotable on other fan-favorite titles, such as the Garden of sinners, Fate/Zero, Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works], and the Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] theatrical trilogy.
