Some episodes of “Chainsmoker Cat” will have two versions: one edited for television, and one unedited.
Exact differences not specified, but the unedited version will “follow the original directorial intent.”
The unedited version will broadcast on AT-X and stream on select services in Japan.
Regular broadcasting begins on July 2 [Thu].

“THE ONE PIECE” episode 1 “ROMANCE DAWN” art unveiled!
Also confirmed: the first teaser trailer will be revealed tomorrow at 6am PDT / 13:00 UTC!
Season 1 premieres February 2027, only on Netflix.
Directed by Masashi Koizuka at WIT STUDIO, Season 1 of this remake will adapt the first 50 chapters, following Luffy up to meeting Sanji, covered in seven episodes and a total run time of ~300 minutes.

“Sparks of Tomorrow” TV anime new preview images!
Directed by Minoru Ota at Kyoto Animation, the series streams weekly beginning July 5 [Sun], only on Netflix.

Netflix is promoting that it will stream “Chainsmoker Cat” outside of Japan starting July 2 [Thu], no mention of exclusivity or regions.
Worth mentioning: in Japan, Netflix will be streaming the unedited version, not the on-air version. Presumably, this will be the case for international streaming as well.

As previously reported, the anime has shifted to a new production schedule limiting output to two cours and a maximum of 26 episodes per year, aiming to incorporate more content, tempo, and pacing of the original manga.
