“In This Corner of the World” is receiving a theatrical re-release in Japan starting August 1.
To commemorate this, a new visual drawn by director Sunao Katabuchi has been unveiled.

In a future society where humans and mermaids coexist, Stephan, a regular office worker at a shipbuilding company, is suddenly proposed to by Chao ฬถ a princess from the mermaid kingdom!
